Loaned my car to Dave at Random Technology for a few days so that they could use it for a test bed to fabricate down pipes and test pipes for the Z's. They all turned out pretty nice. Pretty much a perfect fit, good looking too. As soon as I started the car I immediately noticed a difference in sound. The throttle is more responsive, and spool up comes quicker. The first time I boosted, I went for 1.25bar I hit 1.50. This was a problem for me earlier. I was unable to boost more than 1.29bar even on higher settings. I havent had much desire to boost more than 1.5 bar. But, I am sure I will soon enough. Next dyno run, maybe. I dynoed a few weeks ago,420.7rwhp w/410ftlbs. torque. this was without test pipes and down pipes. Todays dyno run was 455.3 rwhp w/442.2ftlbs. torque. As you can see the random technology pipes freed up 35rwhp/22ftlbs. torque. It was a nice upgrade. I will try to make a post with all 9 dyno runs. To let you see for yourself, what is going on. I did all of my dyno runs at engineered Performance in Atlanta Ed is a really nice, knowledgeable, and helpful person. From what I hear "Ed lives to dyno". Contact him at [ www.engineered.net. ] You get three runs and a printout for 65.00 I believe Carlos is going to be working out a dyno day here sometime soon. Don't quote me but, I think the price will be 50.00 each for a group of ten. later guys and gals have a good one! Michael
By the time you've seen me coming, it's too late!
